Overview
FSI is one of the nation's largest and most respected independent providers of data processing solutions for banking. With us by their side, our clients have leveraged automation to expand their operations, achieve efficiencies, gain market share, and improve internal processes. Whether through our core banking systems, Internet and bank-by-phone services, our item processing capabilities, our hardware sales and support division or any of our other customer-centric services, FSI offers you a turnkey solution that enables financial institutions to do what they do best, banking.
Since 1954, FSI's commitment to quality services for the banking industry has been unparalleled by any other servicer in the country. As one of the largest independently-owned solution providers to the banking industry, FSI provides consistent, quality service to community banks via a staff of 150+ professional, experienced individuals. FSI's clients range from start-ups to multi-billion dollar community banks, many of which have been with FSI for over 25 years; some over 50 years. A considerable roster of satisfied, long-term customers is positive proof of our commitment to service.
To maintain a leadership position as a provider to the banking industry, FSI invests a substantial amount of its revenue into the research and development of new products to keep banks ahead of their customers' needs. This expenditure reflects our commitment to providing quality servicing and the latest technology to the financial industry. FSI also maintains a roster of third-party alliances and is always seeking new ventures to bring cutting edge products and services to its customers.
In 1993, FSI partnered with FIS Global, then Kirchman Corp., to offer its BankWay software in its service-bureau environment. This unique partnership has allowed banks that wanted to outsource data processing services the opportunity to do so. Hundreds of banks now use FIS' heralded system without going through the expense of bringing computers in-house, hiring staff, and funding extensive training. Contacting FSI negated a large part of their potential expense.
In 2011, FSI formed a strategic partnership with EPL, Inc. (EPL) to offer i-POWER, a core data processing solution, to credit unions across the nation. Powered by Oracle, a recognized world leader and innovator in technology, i-POWER is a browser-based application with intuitive navigation and screens which present the end-user with at-a-glance member information and serves as the base of all member transactions. Native Oracle tools and capabilities enable, among many other things, enterprise scalability, innovative query-processing optimization, disaster recovery, and an integrated platform for business intelligence for end users.
FSI maintains and continually upgrades a full suite of ancillary products that complement our existing core processing services, including Windows™–based report viewing, an online solution for OFAC screening compliance, a Web-based Intranet/Extranet application that allows the total sharing of information within a bank, a voice response system that gives banking customers instant access to their accounts, and an application to help ensure automatic compliance to the Patriot Act.
FSI also maintain a strong line of Information technology products and services including a state-of-the-art e-mail system, a secure Internet tool that helps bankers take control of their company's Internet usage, and an intrusion detection system that monitors computer and network activities. In addition to our Item Processing services FSI offers an integrated system that assists in reducing check fraud losses by detecting counterfeit and forged checks, a research and archive system, and a statement redesign and beautification process that provides full color statements with onserts that serve as advertisements, and full line of remote deposit products.
Another venture offers a secure Internet portal that provides a convenient, online platform for board members and key executives. For a growing number of boards, stacks of briefing books sent to directors prior to board meetings have been replaced with a laptop and an Internet connection. FSI is a one-stop service bureau that affords its clients the advantage of dealing with one service provider for all their banking needs.

One of the nation's largest and most respected independent providers of complete banking solutions, FSI offers customized turnkey products backed by the strength of more than 50 years of pioneering experience.
